Description

Join us for a Día de Muertos celebration at Runkle on Friday, November 7, from 1:50 to 3:00 p.m. in the Art Room! Children will make crafts, enjoy Mexican candy and music, and visit an authentic altar decorated with marigolds and photos. Experience the beauty of Mexican culture while honoring loved ones and practicing some Spanish!

SEASP  – Spanish Enrichment After School Program

Did you know that Runkle hosts Brookline’s Spanish-English Language Learner program for Brookline? The Spanish Enrichment After School Program (SEASP) is a parent-run initiative offering extra Spanish instruction for Spanish heritage students and advanced learners at Runkle. Run entirely by parent volunteers, SEASP offers a diverse range of after-school activities designed to be educational, engaging, and, most importantly, enjoyable. Parents have the freedom to create lessons on any subject that inspires them, as long as it’s taught in Spanish.

If your child is interested—or if you’d like to volunteer—please email seasp@runklepto.org and include your child’s grade and Spanish proficiency level.
