What is the PTO?

The Runkle Parent-Teacher Organization exists to support our children and teachers by coordinating academic enrichment activities and community-building events at Runkle. Unlike PTAs, the Runkle PTO is not a fee-based membership group, and all parents and caregivers are automatically members of the PTO. We strongly encourage you to participate! Your voice and suggestions are very welcome and your input helps create a stronger support network, enhance our activities, and better inform our Runkle community.

How the PTO Helps

The PTO is the primary source of fundraising for Runkle. Donations made to the PTO Annual Fund are allocated to a wide variety of school-community programs, enrichment activities, and school improvements. To learn more about how funds are raised and dispersed, reach out or join us for the PTO Budget meeting each June.
