We celebrate our annual International night event on May 19, 5:30pm-7:30pm. This year we revamp the tradition and call for volunteers to help us get "Around the world in 60 minutes".

 

We have identified 15 countries as candidates based on previous years attendance and known representation at Runkle: Colombia, India, China, France, Turkey, South Africa, Israel, Mexico, South Korea, Austria, Italy, Argentina, Denmark, Japan, Dominican Republic. If anyone is yearning to present another country please reach out to pto@runkle.org and we will add it to the list.

 

On the sign-up genius found here, volunteers can sign up for the country of their choice. That choice could be because of an "Interest in", "Know something about", "Wish to go in the future" or "Traveled to in the past". 

 

Each "country" will identify a "team-captain" to guide their country team in setting up the table. Table displays could include Music, Clothes, Finger Food, Funny customs or a Game often played in the country. Each team will be given a poster board display they can decorate.

 

We will have a contest in the end for the most enjoyable game and the most enjoyable food selected by a kids vote.

The evening will end with some form of entertainment or performance.
